Story

Hi there!

A while ago I could not even run one mile, and in September I need to run 13 miles!  I have always enjoyed a challenge and this one will give me such a sense of satisfaction and I also know it will also be good fun along the way.

I have always wanted to get myself fitter and healthier and I cannot think of a better reason, or a better cause to do so. I feel, after having been through breast cancer, a far more confident and better person, and doing what I am doing can only enhance that and it gives me such a feeling of achievement and satisfaction.

I am also doing this for my beloved Mother, who died of breast cancer in 1995.  I know, for sure, that she would be very proud of what I am doing and it is now my turn to give something back.

I really value the support that my family and friends are giving me, in particular my trainer, Martin Paul, and my close friend and colleague, Clare Stone, who is doing this challenge with me.  I also want to thank all those who are sponsoring me and supporting such a worthwhile cause.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Breast Cancer Care gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Love Jayne x
