It's been 100 years since the end of WW1. In that time, there have been 27 major conflicts around the globe which our brave men and women have fought to protect our way of life. 1.3 million soldiers never returned home to see their families. That's like losing the city of Birmingham from the map!

I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to the British Armed Forces for standing on the wall to protect this country and protect my way of life. To honour them, I wanted to acknowledge their incredible efforts, so created the idea for 27 Heroes in aid of Help for Heroes.

27 Heroes seeks to honour all of our soldiers who fought for us. Each workout will bear the name of individuals who died in the line of duty.
