We decided that running a marathon in 5 years time might just about leave long enough to train.  So we started submitting to the ballot in the hope of eventually scoring a free place.  But then Flora went and called our bluff and gave us both a place this year.  2008 it seems, will be the year....

In the hope of finding some motivation, we have decided to run for a charity close to our hearts - the Butterwick Hospice.

Many of you will know that the Butterwick did an amazing job of caring for Jen's mum.  During life, Maggie Middleton raised a lot of money for building the new hospice which she sadly never saw.  Though now complete, upkeep of the facility costs several £million a year.  We hope to maintain her legacy by helping the Butterwick to help other families facing difficult times.
