The two Emmas and I are doing the 10km Memory Walk!
Anyone who knows me, knows how strongly I feel about the importance of mental health studies and with Alzheimer's being hereditary in my family, I hope so much that a way of coping with this disease is discovered soon. We are raising money for The Alzheimer's Society in memory of the family members we miss. We've never asked for your money before, so anything you can spare as a donation, we are very grateful for. Jen: Grandma was...Bongah, Sunday school, Simpkins, triangle corned beef sandwiches, hotpot, trifle, damp cloths in tupperware, bingo wings, crinkly elbows, tissues up her sleeve, red shirt, black sleeveless cardigan, white shoes, sweating cobs, squashed tomatoes, one eyebrow, peter rabbit musical statue, soft washing, Blackpool circus, red carnations, Puffalump, windchime, bucket in the car park, footprints in the sand, crooked fingers, squirrels, squeaky camp bed, tucked in tightly...and the perfume I'll never forget. I miss her every day.
Emma: Winnie was...pancakes, throwing biscuits across the room, chocolate, cardigans, marmalade sandwiches, mountains of toast, rice pudding, ice buns, tripe, wet dish cloth, 1st to 5th gear. A gorgeous lady leaving a huge hole in our family.
