Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustDonating  Page

Following our beautiful daughter’s passing and leaving her
own cherished and much-loved daughter Eirinn, we are opening a fund for
research into mental health.  Research is
sadly lacking in this World of ours but, ultimately, is required even more
because of the increase, in ALL ages, for this kind of illness. Our chosen
charity is MENTAL HEALTH RESEARCH.UK

We knew Jenine was a very special person who had a wide
circle of friends and the scale of that circle has surprised us but also shows
from the messages we have received, how she has touched people’s lives. These
are just a few of the many quotes…..Beautiful energy and Soul, honest and generous,
Cheeky Sense of Humour, a very special person who was always supportive without
question, true friend, funny, Beautiful Inside and Out, a unique person, and
typically her contagious laugh.

Jenine grew up in Wigston in Leicestershire and as she grew
so did the circle of friends begin; we had the normal sleepovers and laughter
filled our home most weekends, a very happy time for us and her friends. After
completing 6th form college she moved on to University and the
beginning of her life in London commenced at Goldsmiths University, at which
time she was not only completing her studies but working also.  Her last job before graduating being at Red or
Dead in London. Then travelling with friends and afterwards settling for a
fashion career starting at Kookai and then moving to Top Shop. Jenine worked
there for 9 years in buying Denim she was a Denim Guru. She carried on in other
Fashion houses Debenhams, Boden and then freelance as a Denim Consultant.

During her working years she travelled around the world and
once again increased her circle of friends. On a major trip to India she visited
the Ashrams and progressed her knowledge in something that was very important
to her… Yoga and meditation. On a later trip she went to Bangladesh and taught
at the “Asia University for Women”, as she wanted to help as much as possible
the young ladies to get started on their academic life.  Many of her students were still in touch with
her.

Jenine married and later had her daughter Eirinn on the 29th
November 2011 and a completely new chapter commenced with her vibrant young daughter,
picking up both Jenine’s and John’s {Eirinn’s Daddy} zest for life, fun and
knowledge… a true little Jenine in the making. Jenine was such a loving Mum
with the intelligence to be able to guide Eirinn with the correct answers to
her many inquisitive questions.

Our hearts are broken into a
million pieces. But we know Jenine is with us and with all the people who loved
her. We are honoured to have been Jenine’s parents and, along with all her
friends far and wide, will be forever in our hearts.

Unfortunately, illness over the years hampered Jenine but
with help from family and friends far and wide, she courageously continued with
everyday life, only to lose her life on the 3rd May 2019. We have
set up this tribute fund to raise money for the charity “Mental Health Research
UK” to help bring both awareness and, hopefully, more knowledge and cures to
the different areas of Mental Health. We all hope that everyone will contribute
to this fund to enable the Charity to reach its goals.

Further details will follow of events that will be set up to
raise funds. Please keep checking for details of forthcoming events on Jenine’s
Tribute Page. Thank you.

The above is only a short synopsis of what has occurred and
more can be seen on Jenine’s Tribute Page.
