What motivates us to spend our spare time for six months training, getting cold and wet cycling in the rain, or getting bored in the gym, to get fit; mending punctures; writing begging letters to friends, relatives and colleagues fundraising; and then give a week of our annual leave cycling 450km in challenging conditions?

Perhaps it's knowing we raised more than £6,000 for Norwood last year, with your help.  Getting to know the local countryside, from our weekly rides in the hilly Chilterns.  Being surprised by unexpectedly large donations or donations from unexpected people.  Getting to know some Ravenswood village residents better. The personal achievement of successfully meeting the dual challenges of completing the ride and raising the money.
