Children North East · 17 April 2010

Children North East exists because growing up can be hard. We create life-changing differences for babies, children and young people in their families, schools and communities. We offer support at those times when a little help can make a big difference for a child and its future.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday 17th April I will be taking part in the national Swimathon by swimming 5 kilometres (just over 3 miles) at the Sunderland Aquatic Centre.

Please sponsor me to raise £1000 to the Children North East WEYES appeal.

West End Youth Enquiry Service is a drop-in advice centre for young people in the west part of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. The building is badly in need of renovation and Children North East, the region's children's charity needs to raise £400,000 to pay for vital building work so that the centre can stay open.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Children North East and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
