Our Story:

In 2005 my dad was diagnosed with brain cancer and was admitted to the Earl Mountbatten Hospice. He was there for 42 days before he passed on. During this time he was given the care, which was dignified, caring that in no way the family could have done. Also the family around him was given a tremedous amount of support, both during his illness and after dad had died. This also included helping me as I was abroad for most of the time and the Macmillian nurses kept me uptodate and were there to listen to my concerns.

Without this help both dad and the family would have found it extremly difficult to cope and I do hope that this facilty will continue to perpetuity with your help.
