Sylvia convinced me to sign up for this (wait actually she signed me up!!) - knowing I'm not nearly as lean and fit as the lady pictured here. But I'm hoping that the music will carry us through and we can still do the Ethiopians proud! We will be running/crawling along to the Beat for St Matthews' Children's Fund Ethiopia - in 2 weeks time, on Sunday 26 September. EEK! St Matthews's Children’s Fund raises funds to promote the welfare of children in disadvantaged urban Ethiopian communities. They started their work 25 years ago with a local partner organisation to help children orphaned by the famine. Their approach is a sustainable one - empowering communities to take charge of their daily lives.
