We provide much needed support for families to help people affected by a brain tumour

Story

My baby is due on 4th June, whether he's here on time is another matter entirely. I thought it'd be fun to have a "guess the weight" sweepstake and had it suggested that I incorporate a wee bit of fundraising with it.

Please donate whatever you can spare and in the message add the weight of our baby (in lbs and oz, i can't work in kgs for babies!) Whoever is closest gets a toffee (or a job as a psychic if spot on).

A dear friend of mine, Iain Elliott, passed away on the 26th March this year from a brain tumour. Iain was a genuinely wonderful individual, funny, warm, intelligent and dedicated to everyone and everything around him. We met in 1999 at a student charity event in London (he woke me up at 5am by soaking me with a water pistol). His hard work and memory will live on through those who knew him, however briefly.

Hopefully i should be able to get the company i work for (Diageo) to double any money i raise through their charities division, though i may have more important things to be worrying about!

Thanks for looking at my page, please pass it on

Obviously once Lil' Savage is born we'll know the weight but i'm gonna leave the page open for 6 months

Jill

UPDATE

Connor Alexander Harry Savage was born on the 10th June weighing 7lb 13oz. By my reckoning that makes Amanda the winner of the toffee!

The page is still gonna be open for more donations for this incredible charity in memory of an incredible person so please keep pimping it out for us!

Thanks

Jill, Adam and Connor Savage
