As you know Eleanor was critically ill in Stoke Mandeville Hospital earlier this year. Thankfully she is now well on the road to recovery, however without the fantastic staff in the Intensive Care and laterly the High Dependency Units this very likely  would not have been the case

I spent a lot of time on the wards and in the various relative's rooms, and in talking to the staff about what would be a really useful donation, have decided to raise some money to go towards refurbishing the relative's waiting room for the ICT unit as it is pretty basic.

I am going to swim 3 miles on the 12th November 2006 and would appreciate any donation you can make

Update 12/11/06  I DID IT!!! 2 HOURS 15 MINUTES and I was knackered at the end. Els and the kids were there at the finish line to cheer me on but I am glad it is over...
