The London Marathon ( 26 miles 385 yds) took place on Sunday13th April and I completed it in 3 hours 50 mins 46 secs ! I am raising funds for  "Children in Crossfire Charity" to help  their projects in the Third World. Please read about the work carried out by the charity  and the benefits that a small contribution can  make to those in need. I am running the Marathon myself  after 4 months of training during the wet and cold weather and to help such a worthwhile charity would be a great incentive.

I wish to thank my  fellow County Councillors on Donegal County Council  who donated €2700 between them at our meeting on Monday 31st March.
