Well I have now completed the race. I got a time of 1:52:40 and beat my 2 hour target. Thanks for everyone's support.

Race is on this Sunday in Central London. Pretty nervous about it but have done some good hour long routes and am confident I can now make the distance work. Appreciate everyones support so much as it makes it all the more worthwhile.

So I was at work one day and a link came up on the Intranet for a charity half marathon and since doing the Watford 10k in early May, I decided to enter (after much pondering I must admit) as it seemed like a good opportunity to push myself further and also raise some money for charity.

Since this is being done through eDF Energy, I am raising money for ParalympicsGB - http://www.paralympics.org.uk/

I will be doing lots of training (hopefully).  Maybe come support me on the day.  Joining Brit Mil Fit in Watford plus training club so be getting a good workout and getting ready.

Anyway thanks for looking and big appreciation for any and all support. Also please pass this on to anyway who may like to sponsor me that you can think of?
