On Sunday 25^th April 2010, a team of four John Lewis Partners set off in an attempt to cycle around as many John Lewis stores as possible over a seven day period.  The challenge was in support of the Partnership’s Charity of the Year, Beating Bowel Cancer.

The team consisted of Mark Hastings, Ollie Sparks, Alex Stevens (all from John Lewis High Wycombe) and Duncan Robinson (John Lewis Direct), ably supported by our back-up driver, Ashley Reynolds.  We visited seventeen stores in total including Watford, Welwyn, Cambridge, Peterborough, Leicester, Nottingham, Sheffield, Cheadle, Trafford, Liverpool, Solihull, Milton Keynes, Brent Cross, Oxford Street, Peter Jones and Kingston stores before finally returning to High Wycombe at 4:50pm on Saturday 1^st May 2010.  All in all, we cycled a distance in excess of 600 miles and climbed over 20,000 feet in a week … not bad for four amateur cyclists!
