We help blind and partially sighted people to break down the barriers of sight loss

Story

Challenge done!.  On Thursday 15th May 2008 I started a solo & unsupported cycle ride from John O'Groats - Scotland, finishing 10 days and 964 miles later at Land's End - Cornwall, in aid of the RNIB.

This was a great trip and fantastic opportunity to experience the UK's varied landscapes.  The extended climbs through Glen Coe in the Highlands and Kirkstone Pass in the Lake District will not be forgotten soon.  I was fortunate to suffer no punctures, mechanical or physical problems throughout the trip.  Additionally, I had wonderful cycling weather - clear and dry for the entire trip bar the final 4 miles to Land's End.  I would like to thank all friends and family who have given me moral support and who have so generously supported the RNIB financially.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.  It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: the RNIB will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
