Many of you will know that raising money to find a cure for Cancer is very close to my heart.  Until we can find a cure for this dreadful illness it's really important that money is raised for good causes such as St Lukes Hospice so they can continue to offer help to people who need respite care, day care, therapies, family support and spiritual care. 

I have attended 2 funerals in as many weeks for people we have lost to Cancer.  Local hospices not only provide support to the patients but will also provide support to the families who have lost someone.  If this money helps just one person to not have to go through what I went through I will be very happy!

So, what am I going to do to justify your generous donation?  I'm committing to do the 'Midnight Walk' which is just over 13 miles walk through the Cheshire Countryside.  To many this may not seem like much but remember:  * I'm VERY clumsy - last time I did this 'walk' I was in a wheel chair having damaged my ankle on holiday!  (supported or rather pushed by 'The Murphy Girls' * I can still feel the pain from when I have walked it previously.... I must do some training this time! * Having been the highest fundraiser in past and having been in the paper and on local radio, expectations are high
