Story

Project Limpopo 2010-2011

As part of my 2nd year degree in Architecture at Nottingham University I shall become part of a team, working alongside the established charity Eduction Africa, that aim to DESIGN and BUILD a Nursery School for 80 young children in one of the worlds poorest countries, South Africa. The nursery will be located in Calais Village, Limpopo, an extremely rural settlement that currently has no learning facilities for children of this age. We shall be building the nursery, with our own (soon to be trained!) hands, over an 8 week period around Easter 2011.

The project will only be possible if each student raises £2000 each to cover the cost of construction and building materials only! Please give as much as you can to this worthy cause to help some of the most unfortunate children benefit from this wonderful new facility! Additionally, Nottingham University promises to match fund all donations made before 31st of July 2010!
