Hi and thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
I am running this year's London Marathon on April 17th in aid of Cancer Research UK.
More than 1 in 3 people will develop cancer at some point in their lives.
1 in 4 people in the UK will die from cancer - it is the biggest cause of death in the UK.
Cancer Research UK is the world's leading independent organisation dedicated to cancer research and relies overwhelmingly on donations from the general public to fund its research.
My fundraising target is £2,000 so every pound and penny counts. All donations will be gratefully received and go towards the tremendous work done by Cancer Research UK. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure.
It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Please sponsor me now and help me reach my target of £2,000. You can leave running 26.2 miles up to me!
EDIT - March 1st:
Thanks to the unbelievable level of support I have received from everyone I have now reached my original target of raising £2,000 for Cancer Research UK. My aim now is to raise as much as I possibly can for this most worthy of causes.
Thanks to everyone who has sponsored me - your support means a great deal to me.

I did it!
Completed the 26.2 miles in 4:09:18. A fantastic day and an experience I will never forget.
Thanks to everyone for your amazing support - I will update with a final total once all the the sponsor money has been collected.
Will I do it again? The New York Marathon in 2006 sounds good!
Thanks again and best wishes,
Jody
