Story

After having such a fun and successful time playing for Sick Kids Save Point last year I'm back for another 24 hour gaming marathon. With the next era of console gaming just around the corner I'm celebrating by playing through one of the undisputed games of the generation: Dark Souls.

It's to my shame that, though my save file has now clocked around 120 hours of play, I've never been able to finish the game. I want to change that. Last summer I watched my best friend do it in 12, I'm giving myself 24.

So from 12pm on Oct 12th to 12pm on Oct 13th I'll be glued to the screen and pad for 24 hours straight, gaming it up a storm in the name of charity. You'll be able to keep up with my progress via Twitter, and all being well I'll even be able to stream some of the particularly punishing sections.

The Sick Kids Friends Foundation helps raise money and provide services for sick children, which helps to make things easier for both them and their families. It's a wonderful charity and is well worth supporting. So please be generous, and donate as much as you can!
