Hi All,

My first triathlon was an extraordinary experience - incredibly tough, at times terrifying (swimming against the river current), fun (co-incidentally meeting Dom during the cycle and having a nice chat about how it was going) and ultimately exhilirating (thinking I was going to collapse over the line but finding that my legs, and vanity, forced a sprint finish onto me). Having my Mum and Dad there, as well as Ben and Suzanne, made a huge difference, calming nerves the night before and being there to cheer me on for every lap of the run. A huge thank you to them.
