Story

Welcome to my justgiving page!

I'm Joe.  I love reading and writing (I've written my own book, entitled "The World" which will be out in June).  I also love giving money to charity, so one day, I thought of a way to mix those two loves together...

A charity read-athon.

Here's the idea: One weekend.  A pile of young adult fiction novels, all 200 to 300 pages long.  One charity fund raiser.

I will be doing my read-athon on the 20th and 21st of April, but you can donate right now!  All proceeds will be going to Great Ormond Street Hospital, a place that I am extremely thankful for.  I was born with a rare genetic heart condition called Arterial Tortuosity Syndrome.  With that came Hypermobility Syndrome, a condition which affects the joints and made it hard for me to walk long distances, and with THAT came Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, which causes chronic tiredness.  Because of this I've been going to Great Ormond Street Hospital since I was very young.  In 2010, a physiotherapy course that I went to changed my life.  Now, I've decided it's time to give something back.
