Thanks for taking time to visit our JustGiving page.
Joseph Tilling is an amazing and happy little boy who is full of life and energy. He genuinely has a smile that can light up the room.
He is an inspiration to many of us and although he is only 2 years old his bravery is already starting to show. Joseph has been diagnosed with a very rare genetic disorder called Mucolipidosis II. Devastatingly, Joseph’s life expectancy is severely limited, his mum, dad and sister; Mel, Rich and Erin have of course had their worlds turned upside down. They do however look to a past without regret, and to an unknown future with positivity and hope, always ensuring Josephs life is jam packed full of love, happiness and new experiences.
The Society of Mucopolysaccharide Diseases supports children and families with life limiting genetic disorders such as ML II. With only 1 in 326,000 babies being diagnosed annually in the UK, ML II is one of the most depleting diseases of the mucopolysaccharide family.
As close friends of Rich and Mel we desperately wanted to do something to help and hence the 'Jogle (John O’Groats to Lands End) for Joseph' challenge was conceived. The cycle ride will take 15 days and starts on April 23rd 2011, its worth bearing in mind that none of the group are accomplished riders, the majority having not been on a bike for some years! 9 blokes, 9 bikes, 950 miles – we will do it for Joseph!
Thank you for making a donation below, we really appreciate your help and support and would love you to leave a comment. Please go to www.jogleforjoseph.co.uk to see lots more information.
Wish us luck and thank you again
