Well - I did the 10 mile course in 2hr 51 Seconds - not quite my initial target of 1hr 40 but I said I would be chuffed if I did in 2 hours so I am very pleased.  It was quite possibly the hardest thing I have ever done (as you can see from my newly updated profile pic)!  The weather was gorgeous for supporters (who were fantastic) but even in October I got a wee bit of colour as the sun was scorching!  Anyhow - now that I've proven I can do it I'm looking for another challenge.

I ran for Marie Curie Cancer Care - a fantastic charity who provide high-quality nursing, totally free to give people with terminal cancer and other illnesses the choice of dying at home, supported by their families.  Knowing many people that have been affected by cancer (and other debilitating illnesses), including family and very close family friends I feel that by pushing myself to do something out of my comfort zone, and raising money at the same time, I am helping ease the pain and provide some comfort to those that need it.

To do this, I need your help!  My official target is £166 but I would love to smash that and some!  Please give generously, I am conscious that you are all asked several times a year to sponsor others taking part in charitable challenges so any little bit will help.
