Story

On 24th June our son, John-Patrick, known to most as JP (check out his photos and video on the left side of this page - JP has a message for you all), had open heart surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital. It is the final of his 3 scheduled operations (he had a 4th one thrown in for good luck!!!). We are relieved and delighted that he has made it through his amazing story!  At 4 and half years old he is the most incredible little person I know, and he is here with us today because of the amazing work Great Ormond Street Hospital do! They have saved his life many times and made it possible for us to have our little boy here with us today. And, for that, we are eternally grateful! It is hard to thank them enough, but we would like to do our best in thanking them with raising as much money for them as we can. So, on October 10th, myself, my fabulous sister Allanah and our dear friend Polly Staveley are going to be running The Royal Parks Half Marathon (has John opted out this year coz his workload is so big or because he is worried i'd beat him again this year?!!!) and we would be so very grateful if you could donate as little or as much as you can. Every little counts, so please, please, please get donating today!!!

May I also take this oportunity to thank our family and friends so much for their love and support over the last 5 years! We would not have been able to do it without you, so thank you so very much!!!!
