We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm running in the NewYork marathon on 1st November to raise money for the Ruby Barnard-Brady Fund. Ruby (pictured with her Mum, Lysa and her Dad, Matt) died from a brain tumour in July 2007. Ruby was an adorable and fun loving little girl and her sudden illness and death were shocking and tragic. The run is dedicated to Ruby's memory and it's also a chance to do something for other children who suffer from brain tumours.

All your donations will go to the Samantha Dickson Brain Tumour Trust (SDBTT), the registered charity of which the Ruby Barnard-Brady Fund is part. SDBTT is the leading charity in the UK dedicated to raising awareness, support and funds for brain tumour research. Out of the £420 million spent each year on cancer research in the UK less than 1% goes towards brain tumour research. So SDBTT is committed to raising more money to fight this devastating illness. Your money will help support the research programme which is improving the quality of life and survival rates for children with brain tumours.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thanks for your help

Best Wishes
