After taking part in a 200m charity cycle back in 2009 I caught the cycling bug, and when the opportunity arose to take part in another more challenging event, I could not say no! I'm just wondering why I chose the leg with no rest day and more importantly no Six Nations game!

In February I will be joining Lawrence Dallaglio and the team cycling between the 6 stadia of the Six Nations: Rome, Paris, Twickenham, Cardiff, Dublin and Edinburgh. I'll be doing Stage 3 of the DallaglioCycle slam (www.dallagliocycleslam.com) which looks long and difficult and is all in aid of Sport Relief and the newly formed Dallaglio Foundation. Both causes are worthy of as big a donation as you can manage!

The Dallaglio Foundation (www.dallagliofoundation.com) raises much needed funding for a variety of well-deserving charities including DebRA which helps people with the genetic skin blistering condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).
