Event: Tough Guy Race
We fight childhood liver disease to help every life affected

Story

As you all know, my son Luke was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia when he was 5 weeks old.  Biliary Atresia is a very rare liver disease which affects only 50 children in the UK a year.

Beside Biliary Atresia there are many different liver diseases which affect childrens liver.  Liver disease is a very serious and life threatening condition. .  More Children in the UK are currently diagnosed with a liver disease than childhood leukaemia.  Most childhood liver diseases are life threatening; all mean a lifetime of care.

My personal aim is to raise as much money as i can for the Children's Liver Disease Foundation, so please be as generous as you can, everything is appreciated.

I intend to do this by doing the legendary Tough Man Race on January 31st  2010 in a Mankini. Any support would be much appreciated. Further details to follow.

In the wake of the article going in the Wakefield Express I will be updating this page with more details over the weekend, for further details, those who are on Facebook can join my page http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/group.php?gid=75237695305&ref=nf, or seach it by typing in Childrens Liver Disease Foundation Tough Man Race in a Mankini.
