Welcome to Jonathan Round's Fundraising page!
Well thank you all to those that supported me, both by being there and by so generously donating to Rays of Sunshine.
I was able to run 1 hour 33, coming 391st in the field of 12,500! it was very encouraging knowing why i was running, particularly at the 10 mile mark.

I will be running 13 miles for Rays of Sunshine on 10th October 2010 in the Royal Parks Half Marathon, and am aiming to raise £1000 for this fantastic charity. Its also my 44th birthday!
Rays of Sunshine is a charity whose aim is to improve the lives of children with life-threatening illnesses. Many other charities focus on disease research or hospital facilities. Rays of Sunshine offer something very different, by granting "wishes" for the children and their families.
This makes a huge difference - serious long term illnesses put a big financial and emotional strain on the whole family, not just the affected children. The wishes that Rays of Sunshine make real are tailored to the child and put together by the Charity. The wishes make so much difference to those living with these conditions, giving them something fantastic to look forward or remember in the middle of otherwise difficult times.
You can find out more about the charity at www.raysofsunshine.org.uk. Once money has been donated, it is sent directly to Rays of Sunshine and Giftaid is collected too, so extra money can be raised if you are a taxpayer.
