The reason i want to run for "just for kids" is because i feel it is a very worthy cause and being from the north east I'd like to see money raised for charity directly benefit the north east. The main area that has made me believe in just for kids is the Christmas appeal, which i believe helps lots of children across the north east. This is what has inspired me to do the great north run for just for kids as i have always had gifts at Christmas and couldn't imagine waking up on Christmas day to nothing.
 
This will be my fourth great north run this year and I'm hoping to beat my personal best and finish in under 2 hours. If i can do that while helping just for kids raise some money it would give me a great sense of achievement.
