On the 16th/17th August ,I with eight others ,am taking on the 24 peak challenge which is a gruelling weekend of activity where we will climb up and then down just about every mountain in the Lake District with only minimal time allowed in the pub.

Although several of the team are survivors of the Kilimanjaro experience ,we are all a bit older and everything is a bit harder nowadays so we need all your help.

I am doing it on behalf of the SANDs charity which from recent history i know does fantastic work and is , like all charites, in desperate need of more money to carry on the great job it does.
