Yes it's that time again when people start knocking on your door, sending you emails and texts asking to give up your hard-earned cash for charity because, on 13 April 2008, I am running the London Marathon.  It will be my third time having run in 2000 and 2004.  Anyone spotting a trend?  No I will not be attempting the 2012 Marathon in the Olympics!

I wanted to say a very big thank you for sponsoring me to run the London Marathon. I completed the course in 5hrs 32mins, requiring some wonderful St Johns Ambulance and physio support from mile 14 to the end! My quads decided to cramp up and trap a nerve! Therefore fairly excrutiating pain!

But more importantly, I have almost reached my target of £2000 and felt I needed to say thank you!! I am pleased to say that I have now completed three marathons and raised over £5000 for charities.
