Story

As most of you know, my friend Alison lost her 18 year old son Mark to a condition called Viral Myorcarditis (aka Sudden Death Syndrome) in February this year.  I hadn't heard of it and was stunned to discover that 8 young adults die each week of undiagnosed heart conditions in the UK.

So, as I'd been roped into this 5km run by a friend, I decided I'd try to raise some money for the Mark Marden Memorial Fund that has been set up by his University friends.  This can be seen at: www.justgiving.com/markmarden

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cardiac Risk in the Young will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

With love.
