The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am 84 years old, partially sighted and have a beautiful guide dog called Lomax. This is my third sky-dive, the first being for Guide Dogs which is a charity with no government funding. Simply speaking, financially it costs £100 per minute of every day to keep the Guide Dogs Association operating for all the blind and partially sighted, including children.

I do understand that this year has been difficult financially for most people, but however small the amount you feel you can sponsor me for my sky-dive (from 13,000 feet!) I would be most grateful.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
