Story

Welcome to my JustGiving page and thanks for taking the time to visit...

This is the first marathon I have attempted and I have decided to run for the Macular Disease Society for which my father, Tom Wilson, has been the Hon. Treasurer for the last 6 years. He assures me that he would have run himself but all the metal in his body is too heavy to lug around the course...

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now and I'll keep training!

More about the Mac:

Macular Degeneration is a little known disease which causes loss of central vision and currently affects over half a million people in the UK. Imagine not being able to drive, read, recognise faces or watch television – this is what happens to people with advanced macular disease. MD is the largest cause of registered sight loss in the UK. There is no cure.
