CYCLING WITH THE SACRED COWS!Armed with imodium and chamois cream, I shall be cycling 500km at the end of October through rural Rajasthan in Northern India, raising money for Norwood. Avoiding potholes, elephant dung and sacred cows will be the biggest part of the challenge, along with escaping the near-death experiences of crashes with oncoming vehicles; where in a single lane cars overtake lorries who are over-taking mopeds carrying families of six plus their chickens, who are avoiding village pedestrians and rickshaws! Moreover the 'luxury' camping sounds appetising, along with the pollution, toilet plumbing and Vegan vindaloo breakfasts...
This is not only a demanding physical challenge and I have spent time and energy puffing and panting to get into shape for it,
but I am also committed to the much greater challenge of raising a minimum of
£3000 in sponsorship money for Norwood, who work with people with disabilities. I am paying for the costs and expenses of the trip
so all the money that I raise will go directly to support the families in need. Please help me make a difference by sponsoring me to take part in this great
event and reach this target. Many thanks for your support, and empathy.

ps Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Norwood gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
