Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Very shortly I shall reach a magical age! As a result I thought it would be a good time to set myself a challenge and so I have decided to run the Newham 10k on the 7th March 2010. The run takes place around the new Olympic site so it will be very inspiring.

More important though I am hoping to raise money for the charity I work in. I was so lucky to start with the Dame kelly Holmes legacy Trust in July 2008 and what a journey it has been. Recently we have started to deliver the kind of projects that are making such a difference to very vulnerable young people and recently I was humbled to work directly with a group of such young people that had such complex problems through our "Get on Track " project. We managed to get some of them links into jobs and volunteering and I know first hand how important this was for them.

So ALL my money raised will go towards our next project and that will be very special for me.

I am not a runner(a golfer yes) and this will not be easy but any donation will be a great motivator for me so if you are able to support me thank you so much!
