I am celebrating my 50th birthday in July this year and have decided to mark the occasion by walking part of The Great Wall of China in aid of the charity Help The Aged. My friend Lynne who is also celebrating her 50th in June this year is joining me along with my daughter Carly and Lynnes partner John.

It's going to be a hard slog but hopefully fun too and no doubt there will be another celebration when we get back.
