Since I started running 18 months ago, I have clocked up 825 miles or 1320km. In a straight line, this is the same as running from Melbourne to Brisbane or from Sunny Surbiton to Florence, Italy.  In 2008 I ran my first marathon (Marathon De Paris) in 3 hours and 52 minutes.

This year I am running the British 10K London Run in July on behalf of the Brigitte Trust in Dorking.  The Brigitte trust is a very worthy cause that offers practical and emotional support to people with life-threatening illnesses, who wish to remain at home.  Together with my work mates at Unilever, we would like your support to raise £2000, which is enough to provide two volunteers for an entire year.

I know we've recently been around the loop for donations towards Movember and the fight to challenge Prostate Cancer and I also appreciate we are uncertain economic times.  All donations will be much appreciated and with your help, we can help others who need us.
