Story
On
19th October 2010, my father, John
Barrie Chilton would have been 80 years old.
He
sadly passed away on 6th January this year from Pancreatic Cancer.
To
honour his birthday, we are running this on line raffle in order to raise funds
for
PANCREATIC
CANCER .
Pancreatic cancer is the
fifth most common cause of cancer death in Europe and . There are
about 7600 cases per year in the and it has the lowest survival
rate. However, most people have never heard of it. Please help raise awareness
so that this type of cancer can be diagnosed sooner and help more people faster.
Each
donation will be eligible for a raffle ticket. You can donate whatever you wish
(there is no minimum). Make sure you
leave your email address so that we can contact you after the draw on 19th
October, to let you know if you have won a prize or not.
Prizes include: A week in Cyprus, A
bottle of Maison Francis Kirkdjian perfume, a weekend in any Corinthia Hotel in
Europe; a 2 night stay in any Rafael Hotel in Europe, a weekend stay in the
Hilton Munich Parc; afternoon tea at the Langham London Hotel, dinner for two
at Babylon Restaurant in London, a bottle of 1989 Le Grande Dame Veuve Clicquot
(worth £150), Sunday brunch at the Rome Cavalieri Hilton, a signed cricket bat, 2 free tickets to the London Transport Museum, a night at Browns Hotel in London plus many more - we

NB:

not getting a ticket, product or service in return for my donation” because
this raffle is unfortunately not eligible for gift aid.
It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months.
That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.
