We did it!!

Thanks to everyone for your sponsorhip. We successfully completed the 40km walk on Saturday 15th May and are still feeling the effects! it was a VERY long day. We set off at 8am and crossed the finish line about 7pm so eleven hours in total with plenty of stops along the way.

The group mostly suffered from blisters and general aches and pains. The last two hours I don't think any of us could really feel our legs as they just started to cease up and I know I was limping over the line! Sob sob...

The route was stunning though, although a lot more hilly than we anticipated but we had a really enjoyable day. I even saw a slow worm, very strange creatures!
