Victim Support is the national charity for victims and witnesses of crime in England and Wales.

We give free and confidential help to victims of crime, their family, friends and anyone else affected. We give information, emotional support and practical help. You don't have to report a crime to the police to get our help and can get support at any time, whenever the crime happened. We are not a government agency or part of the police.

We have offices right across England and Wales running and co-ordinating our local services. We run the Witness Service in every criminal court to help people called as witnesses. Our Victim Supportline (0845 30 30 900) gives immediate help over the phone and puts people in touch with our local teams.

We also campaign for greater rights for victims and witnesses and to raise awareness.

My story

Thanks for visiting my page and making a donation

On 16th July 2006, my dadda Changez Arif was stabbed to death at the back of my gran's house in Cheetham Hill. His murderer was already banned from this area and he was already on bail for another racist attack.

I miss my dadda so much and have been doing lots of things to make him and my family proud, I am good at Thai Boxing and train every day and am on a football team.

On 16th May 2009, I am doing the Manchester 2.5k Junior Run at Eastlands and all the proceeds are going to Victims Support, who helped me & my mum so much when we needed it.

I am sure my dadda will be watching me and I will run as fast as I can.

All my family will be watching me and cheering me on and if you would like to come and support me & all the other kids that will be great.

Thank you for supporting me and all the other victims of senseless crimes.
