We provide support, services and advice to help autistic people and their families

Story

Hi everyone,

We are taking part in this years Big Fun Run in Middlesbrough in aid of the National Autistic Society!

Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affects the way a person communicates and relates to people around them. People with autism have difficulties with everyday social interaction.

Autism is much more common than most people think. There are over half a million people in the UK with autism - that's around 1 in 100 people.

It can be hard to create awareness of autism as people with the condition do not physically 'look' disabled.

The National Autistic Society provides invaluable support to people with Autism and their families.

The work this charity does is fantastic and we would be honoured if you would help us! Any donation no matter how small will be most gracefully received!

We are dedicating our run to a very special person in our life who has Autism
