****** UPDATE 15TH APRIL. Race day has been and gone, I'm safely around and although I didn't break my 3 hours 24 target (I did 3'33) I'm pleased with what I did - and more than pleased with the money raised for a fantastic cause. So to all of my sponsors - A BIG THANK YOU !!! *****
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.
Those of you who know me or have followed my fundraising before will know that I support the LRF because of the death of a schoolfriend, Ian Watts, back in the early eighties. There are so many deserving causes out there but few that affect the young as much as this illness. Great advances in treatment have been made since Ian's days and with more research this can improve further.
This is my fourth London Marathon, having completed 1995, 2004 and 2006. As well as fundraising I hope to improve on my best time of 3'24" with a little help from clubmates from Billericay Striders (www.billericaystriders.com) and Eton Manor ( www.eton-manor.com ).
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Leukaemia Research will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
