Story
London '09 Result
OK, so the spectators enjoyed the weather but it was a bit hot for those of us running - I've never drunk so much whilst running in my life. I crossed the line in 3 hours, 19 minutes and 12 seconds. So I missed my 3:15 target but beat the Berlin time.
Without doubt, London marathon is an amazing race. The level of support is just something else - thanks to those who shouted for me all the way round!
Berlin '08 Result
Well, I completed the Berlin Marathon in a time of 3 hours, 24 minutes and 5 seconds. I think I may have set a rod for my own back with that though!! Roll on London.....

Berlin Marathon: 28th September '08 & London Marathon: 26th April '09
Having helped raise sponsorship and then watching firstly Richard then 'litte sister' Jeanette run marathons in each of the last 2 years, I've decided it's my turn, but I'm going one better and running two!!!
The money I raise will go to the Muscular Dystrophy Campaign which supports work to combat muscle conditions, one of which, Congenital Myotonic Dystrophy, my youngest daughter Jasmine has. The charity team work really hard and so every penny you donate is going to this worthwhile cause.
I'll be joined in Berlin by some old friends from work (Alan Dowton) and the Athletico Chips FC (Phil Siverns). London will certainly be great with the "home" support.
Your donations will be much appreciated. Don't forget to check the gift aid option to help raise an extra 28 pence for every pound you donate - all from the Government!
Cheers
Keith
