I would just like to say thank you for taking the time to read why I am doing the great north run.

It is because off my dearest friend nikki who at 34 is living with cancer.She is an amazing mummy and a best friend anyone could ever ask for. She always puts everyone before herself even when times are so hard , she does not give up and has touch my life forever. She is the most amazing person I have ever met. I only wish I was not writing this about her.

So dig deep, I have only ever ran 3.5miles before and now I am running 13miles
