On the scrounge again!
I’ve decided it was time I raised a bit more money for charity.
My last effort was, (with a lot of help from a very good friend), completing the Great North Run in 2006. Enjoyable though that was, the training takes up a lot of time. And, for me, it’s a bit too much like hard work.
Because of this I’ve decided I need something less strenuous, something that’s as easy as falling off a log.
The closest I could find was falling out of a plane.
So on June 13th I’m going to be strapped to a skydiving instructor and jump out of a plane at 12,000ft. (Hopefully we won’t make too much of an impact when we land!!!).
All funds raised will be going to The Back-Up Trust, a charity which helps people to come to terms with the physical and emotional impact of a spinal injury.
Thank You.
