Thanks for all the donations and please pass this on to anyone who you think may be willing to help reach my target of £1,000
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
The trek to Everest Base Camp takes 11 days and rises to a maximum altitude of 5545m or 18,192 feet with oxygen levels greatly reduced and walks of up to 8 hours per day the trek is graded as strenuous.
Why am I doing it?
Its argueably the greatest trek on earth with spectacular mountain scenery of the worlds highest mountain as well as several other Himalayan Giants.
The trek also coincides with my 40th birthday and I wanted to do something completely out of my comfort zone and something really memorable.
For those of you who know me I usually take my holidays lying on a beach or sitting at the gaming tables in Las Vegas so this really will be a shock to my system. Accomodation en-route consists of small lodges called Tea Houses with basic accomodation and 'hole in the ground' style toilets!
By promoting this website I can also raise money for a great cause at the same time so please give what you can afford.
Please note that the trek has been funded by me so ALL donations through this website go directly to the NSPCC.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: NSPCC gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
