BISMILLAH HIRAHMAH NIRAHIM (In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful)
Assalam O Alaykum (peace be upon you)
Jazakullah Khairan (May Allah reward you) and thank you for visiting my Justgiving page.
I am really sorry to put a further note to say that sadly my skydive was cancelled the night beofre the jump on the 26th of September. I am just awaiting Al-Khair Glasgow to confirm the next date which Insha Allah (God willing) will be before the end of October.
(IMPORTANT NOTE: as many of you are aware i was meant to attempt this skydive on the 25th of July 2009 but after travelling down to Lincoln me and another sister were unable to do the jumps due ot weather, luckily 3 of our team did and we will Insha Allah God willing be going back down on the 26th of September. In the mean time all money raised will go to Gaza via AlKhair))
I have been truly blessed with the opportunity to do a skydive on the 25th July 2009 for a cause very dear to my heart.
The people of Gaza have suffered for many years and it was only a few months ago they were tested to the limits once again but the suffering continues. Although the media has now diverted it's attention to other issues, the plight of the Palestinians is just as important now as it ever was, so many are still dying due to malnutrition, disease or are homeless or orphaned to name but a very few issues they have in their lives.
I am not asking too much from you, just that you open your heart (and your pocket or wallet :) ) so we can ease some of the suffering of these people so they can rebuild their lives.
I know i can add many links and pictures but i know that you know this is a worthy cause.
Please lets make a difference together.
PLEASE DON'T THINK YOU CAN DO IT TOMORROW AS TOMORROW MAY NEVER COME AND WE GET SO CAUGHT UP IN OUR DAILY LIVES. DO IT NOW & LIVE WITH THE SATISFACTION THAT YOU HAVE OPENED YOUR HEART AND MADE A DIFFERENCE IN SOMEONES LIFE.
"The believer's shade on the day of the resurrection will be his charity" Prophet Muhammed (pbuh)
"They ask you (O Muhammed) what they should spend in charity. Say : 'Whatever you spend in with a good heart, give it to parents, relatives, orphans, the helpless, and travellers in need. Whatever good you do, God is aware of it'" (Quran 2.215)
