Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page
I ran on Sunday 7th September in the Great Scottish Run 10K. I'm not a runner or jogger, so it was hard work, but the weather was in my favour and I kept plodding along to the end.
We started by running up St Vincent Street, which I have experience in as I worked in RSA up there and ran up that hill on a daily basis, usually in my heels, no wonder I was so skinny then
My finishing time was 1hr 19min 53secs, so not bad for a first timer.
It was a great day with a great atmosphere thousands of people running to raise money for a variety of charitys and a lot of mad people just doing it for the fun of it
Lovely thank you to the sports on the sidelines cheering us on & the drivers tooting and waving as we crossed the Kingston Bridge.
It's not too late to donate
This page will be open for a month, I'm pretty sure I'll be in pain until then
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: HOPE For Autism gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Hope for Autism is a local charity that support parents of children with Autism, Asperger Syndrome and Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
THANK YOU!!!!
