I am about to participate in one of the biggest challenges of my life - climbing the Mount Kilimanjaro.
This is undoubtedly my toughest trekking challenge as I spend six days hiking to the summit of Africa's highest mountain. I will be passing through rainforest and giant heathers, to reach a barren lunar landscape and finally snow and ice. It will be a long hard slog, but definitely worth it to stand on the 'Roof of Africa' and watch the dawn breaking over the plains below. However, as I am doing it for charity, I will need your support in helping me raise the minimum (£2750) for me to fulfil this extra ordinary challenge. The money I raise will go to Scope who carry out research into issues affecting disabled people, their families and carers, including housing, equipment and education. So please sponsor me now as the deadline of 20th November 2004 is fast approaching in order for me to reach my target.
